FAQ’s

What is required to participate in the KSC/KMS Junior Competitions Program? Participants must be current USSA members, have a Ski Club membership, and have completed the Athlete Code of Conduct and Parent Code of Conduct.

What is included in a Killington Ski Club membership? 
KSC Membership Rights/Privileges (Those rights/privileges indicated with an asterick are available only to 1) Family and 2) Adult Single memberships):
Use of the ATC – and all conveniences such as: social activities, lunch area, cubbies, microwave, tuning room, and bathrooms.
Use of tuning area
Opportunity to rent a locker
*Voting rights at general membership meetings
*Guest privileges
Possession of a Gold Card – KSC Discount Program
Opportunity to enroll in KSC Tune Program
Inclusion on mailing list and receive mailed communications
Preferred percentage for Columbus Weekend Ski Sale
Opportunity to participate in skiing programs: Competition Programs, Skillfuls, and Masters
*Opportunity to participate as a member of a Standing Committee
*Opportunity to be a chairperson of a Standing Committee-member of Board of Directors
*Opportunity to be an officer

What program is right for me? We have provided a description of each program with age requirements, training and competitive schedules and our training philosophy. Please read through the web site and contact Matt Gnoza with questions.

Where do I sign up? You may download all enrollment/waiver/code of conduct forms on this web site. You may mail them to us or bring them in to the ski club during program office hours.

Where and when does my child meet their coach? The meeting times are posted on each team’s page. There are always KSC/KMS Staff members and club members outside to help your child find their group if they are having difficulty. They should come dressed and ready to meet outside at meeting time noted. If you are late then you will miss your group. They do not wait.

Does my child need to be supervised during lunch?

Is access to the mountain included in the cost of the program?
